Granite Group ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the job address or suburb, the service you're after, and anything you write in the message field.
We also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics — pages visited, how you arrived, approximate location, and device type. This is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- To contact you about the job you asked about
- To understand which parts of the site are useful, and improve them
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. Your enquiry is handled by our form provider (Web3Forms) purely to deliver it to our inbox, and analytics data is processed by Google. We disclose personal information otherwise only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are retained for as long as needed to quote and complete the work, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out using Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies won't stop the site working.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 0428 442 094 and we'll action it.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first on 0428 442 094. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
