It depends on tree size, how many, access for machinery, and what happens to the material afterwards. Mulching on site is almost always cheaper than carting away. We look at it on site and talk through how it's best priced — a set price where the scope is clear, or a day rate where it isn't.
Often, yes. Most Victorian councils control the removal of native vegetation and trees over a certain size, and the rules differ between councils and overlays. Check with your council before work starts — we can tell you what is likely to need approval, but the permit is the landowner's responsibility.
Usually mulched on site with a forestry mulcher or chipper. That keeps the material on your property as ground cover, avoids truck movements and keeps the cost down. If you want it gone, we can cart it off instead — just say so when we visit.
With the right machine on site, faster than most people expect — a recent job of 64 large trees took a few days. Small blocks are often a single day. We give you a realistic timeframe up front, not an optimistic one.
